Located on the north west coast of Scotland Kishorn Port and Dry Dock is the ideal site for the manufacturing, laydown and assembly of renewable energy devices for offshore wind, wave and tidal sectors as well as oil & gas and decommissioning. Kishorn Port and Dry Dock is the former construction site of the Ninian Central Platform, at over 600,000 tonnes still one of the world’s largest manmade moveable objects that ever moved across the face of the earth. The site has 45 Hectares of land available (including the dry dock) for immediate construction and development with a further 19 Hectares available. Connected principally by deep sea there is road access East to Inverness (68 miles) and South to Fort William (92 miles) plus rail sidings at nearby; Strathcarron, Stromeferry and Kyle of Lochalsh. Kishorn Port Ltd is a 50/50 joint venture between Ferguson Transport (Spean Bridge) Ltd and Leiths (Scotland) Ltd. Our company combines the quarrying, concrete and construction materials expertise of Leiths with the port operations, shipping, stevedoring and transport skills of Ferguson Transport & Shipping. Combined our parent companies employ over 700 staff.
