What is ONEDECOM?

ONEDECOM is an online knowledge portal built to integrate the decommissioning community, connecting individuals, companies and supply chain capability and to make more visible the value the industry has delivered within decommissioning delivery. All of the decommissioning knowledge is aggregated from multiple location into ONEDECOM, making it easier and more accessible to all the decom community.

With decommissioning being an important value driver for our industry, why wouldn’t we make it easier to get connected online with decommissioning knowledge.

What is the ONEDECOM Company Directory?

Developed in line with the industry work breakdown structure and the 11 key categories. The ONEDECOM Company directory encapsulates the capability and experience of the global supply chain companies that have the capability to delivery value in our industry and enables those companies to demonstrate their capability and experience in sharing valuable case studies. The directory has been developed to showcase your company with the use of pictures, videos, brochure and company links to your source data and to make your company profile more accessible to the decom community.

Think of this as the LinkedIn of decommissioning. The same look and feel but 100% dedicated to decommissioning discussion and knowledge sharing online.

What is ONEDECOM Projects?

ONEDECOM Projects integrated a number of knowledge sources into one location.

Find out the latest decommissioning programme (DP) submitted for approval linked from the OGA Website. See the latest close-out reports for the many decommissioning projects, linked from the OGA website.

We also link to the project pathfinder status on many decommissioning projects.

Take control of your decommissioning project and update the current completion status in line with the industry WBS and key 11 categories. As part of the supply chain, add your case studies to demonstrate decommissioning capability, experience and value in delivery.

As an individual member of the ONEDECOM network, add the roles you held in decom projects to demonstrate your experience and capability.

How do I join ONEDECOM?

It’s simple. Just go to ‘Get Started’ on our home page and select either an individual or company plan. Registration takes just two minutes and will take no time at all.

Can I get access to the ONEDECOM knowledge portal without a membership?

All of our data on the site is open source and available to all to that the decommissioning community can get access to the right information all in one place. We really want ONEDECOM to be a collaborative portal on knowledge, so important that the data is freely available to new and developing individuals, companies so that we can all learn together.

MY PROFILE

How do I change my ONEDECOM display name?

To change your user name, log in to onedecom.com and select the ‘Edit Profile’ tab. Enter a new name in the Display Name field and press Save Settings. Your new name should display instantly.

Can I change my ONDECOM profile picture?

You can personalise your ONEDECOM account by adding a profile picture that will be displayed next to your account. To change your picture, go to the ‘Profile’ tab on your account and click on the profile or cover photo to change your image. Here you can upload a picture or take a new photo with your device’s camera. Please make sure you have the rights to use the picture you are uploading and that it doesn’t breach Conditions of Use.

How to change my profile visibility settings?

It’s simple. Just go to your account and select ‘privacy’ on your profile to make the necessary changes to your profile visibility to users.

How to change my email preferences?

It’s simple. Just go to your account and select ‘email preferences’ on your profile to make the necessary changes to your email notifications. Make the necessary change to your ‘network activity feed’, ‘messages’, ‘social groups’ and ‘connections’.

How do I change my password?

If you have forgotten your password, or can’t login, click on the Forgot your password? link on the account login page. Enter the email address registered with your ONEDECOM account and we will send you a link to reset your password.

ADDING DATA

How do I add my company to the directory?

Again, this is simple. Just go to ‘Get Started’ on our home page and select the company plan that fits your company needs. Add the company plan to the basket and check-out. No different from buying something online. Once processed by the ONEDECOM team, you can then add your company profile.

The functionality to add your company can be done in two ways:

  1. Just go to ‘Add Company’ on our home page, input your data and once verified by ONEDECOM your company profile will be listed.
  2. Alternatively, go to ‘your profile’ and under ‘DECOM’ select ‘add company’. Input your data and once verified by ONEDECOM your company profile will be listed.

What data do you verify before the company listing is verified?

We want to validate all initial data to ensure the integrity of the site is maintained and that of our customers. We verify the user is linked to that company, we validate the fields they have input and also ensure that the decom category WBS is correct to demonstrate your company’s capability and experience. We may also branch out to verify some data directly. Furthermore, we want to showcase your company and make sure that all the fields are populated where possible to give the industry the best overview of your company.

How do I make changes to my company listing?

It’s simple. Any data that you have input into the portal is controlled through your profile page. Go to ‘your profile’ and under ‘DECOM’, select your listings, and go to ‘edit’. Make the necessary changes and then finalised your updates.

How do I add company case studies / technologies / lessons learned to ONEDECOM?

Again, this is simple and follows the same process as adding a company to our directory. We recommend you add your company to the directory initially. When you add case study / technology / lessons learned, they are all linked to your company.  Just go to ‘your profile’ and under ‘DECOM’ select listing you want to add. Input your data and once verified by ONEDECOM your listing will be posted.

Can I add any data anonymously?

On ONEDECOM, we encourage open dialogue and discussion and it’s important that we maintain the integrity of the site. At present we do not allow anonymous posts.

I have changed company and no longer manage the data for my company?

Simply notify us of your change, and we can re-assign your data to another member of the company. They can then take control of that data.

SHARING DATA

Can I Share any of the data I have added to other external sources?

Absolutely, we have set-up the portal to have social share capability whereby any content can be shared via LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Skype & Email. Simply go to the page or content you want to share and click on the social share icon to the right of the page to share a data source.

DATA SECURITY

How safe is my data on your portal?

Your data and its security are important to us, and the SSL certificates protect the data collected by ONEDECOM and is transferred from our site to a server. The ONEDECOM hosting providers also protect the server our website is on. We also have Firewall & Malware security on our site.

ONEDECOM Reviews is a free reviews platform on the ONEDECOM listings. Whether this is a company / technology / lessons learned / case study listing on our site, you can leave a review to provide feedback with our community of ONEDECOM users.

Help other ONEDECOM users discover great companies, technologies or trusted businesses to use with your genuine feedback. Your reviews and comments can also give business owners the opportunity to hear first-hand from a customer about what they do right, and what they might be able to improve on.

How can I join a discussion group on ONEDECOM?

Simply go to the network page and scroll down to ‘Network Channels’. Select groups and then go to the group you are interested in joining and then select ‘join group’.

Can I create a new discussion group on ONEDECOM?

Yes, simply go to the network page and scroll down to ‘Network Channels’. Select groups, and then ‘create a group’. Progress the new group registration and privacy settings and get started.

How do you invite someone to a group?

Go to the group you want to invite someone, and then within the group menu, go to ‘send invites’. You can invite any existing ONEDECOM members, alternatively invite non-members by putting in their full email address.

How to change the visibility of the group to the community?

You must be the group organiser or moderator to change these settings. Go to the group and then ‘manage’, then ‘settings’ to change the privacy options, group invitations, activity feeds and various group settings.

How do I remove someone from a ONEDECOM group?

You must be the group organiser or moderator to remove a member from your group. Go to the group and then ‘manage’, then ‘members’ and select the member you want to remove. If you are not a group organiser or moderator and feel that someone in the group is not complying with our network rules, then let us know at hello@onedecom and we will investigate.

How do I start a discussion on ONEDECOM?

You can do this is two ways, either in the ONEDECOM network, alternatively within one of the groups, where you can start a forum discussion. To do this, simply go to the groups, and select ‘discussion’ and start that conversation.

Do you accept international credit cards?

We accept all international credit cards and including American Express.

What form of payment do you accept?

Payments made for any of our services are made online via Stripe.

My company is unable to make payment by credit card?

Whilst our core payment system is credit card based, we value our members, so get in touch direct at sales@onedecom.com and we can ensure a safe transaction is completed.

Do you notify me prior to my membership renewal?

For any paid services processed by members, all members will be notified prior to any re-occurring payments being taken. For any further queries, get in touch at sales@onedecom.com
