The guidelines on comparative assessment in decommissioning programmes aim to provide recommendations on, and encourage a consistent approach to, the process to be used in completing and reporting of a comparative assessment in decommissioning programmes, promoting continual improvement and application of lessons learned. The guidelines provide guidance on the structure and preparation for the comparative assessment, evaluation process and any supporting studies and data to inform the comparative assessment.
