ONEDECOM Ltd (“ONEDECOM”) membership rules and terms and conditions (referred to collectively as “Terms”).
As a registered member of ONEDECOM (“Member”), you agree to abide by these Terms, and these Terms shall apply to any use you may make of our Portal www.onedecom.com (the “Portal”) and to any order you make (“order”) for services. Each Order will be a separate contract incorporating these Terms and any specific terms agreed in writing between us regarding that Order. Use of the Portal includes accessing and browsing the Portal and registering as a Member. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before making any use the Portal or placing an Order.
If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to become a Member or place an Order and you should not make any use of the Portal. If you wish to terminate your membership, at any time you can do so by closing your account and no longer accessing or using our Portal.
We may revise these Terms from time to time and the revised terms will be available on the Portal. Every time you place an Order, the Terms in force at that time will apply to the contract between you and us.
Our Privacy Notice sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. By using the Site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

2. Membership Rules
All Membership applications are subject to email verification and approval by ONEDECOM. ONEDECOM will then send an automated email to the registered account email you have registered to verify that your membership has been accepted.
You are obliged to provide correct details when you apply for ONEDECOM Membership and your failure to do so may invalidate your Membership and any subsequent Order (at ONEDECOM’s sole discretion). Your responsibility to provide accurate information is a continuing obligation and you must ensure your membership profile is updated and maintained during your membership.
Your Membership and associated membership profile are personal to you. You are responsible for ensuring that no one other than you use your Membership.
You must not create a false profile on ONEDECOM, misrepresent your identity, create a member profile for anyone other than yourself, or use or attempt to use another’s member profile account.
You must not develop, support or use software, devices, scripts, robots, or any other means or processes (including crawlers, browser plugins and add-ons, or any other technology) to scrape the Services or otherwise copy profiles and other data from the Portals.
You must not post anything that contains software viruses, email spam, phishing, worms or any other harmful code. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Portal or any part of it, the server on which the Portal is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Portal. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities, and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your Membership and your right to use the Portal will cease immediately.
You must not use bots or other automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages.
You must not violate the ONEDECOM Network Rules or any additional terms concerning a specific Service that are provided when you sign up for or start using such Service. Find ONEDECOM Network Rules here.
You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you close it or report misuse.
Access to and use of the ONEDECOM Members section of the Site is through a combination of your ‘username’ and password (“Your ID”) and is reserved exclusively for ONEDECOM Members. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your ID and for all use made of the Site and Orders placed using Your ID, and you agree to notify ONEDECOM immediately by emailing hello@ondecom if you believe that there has been any breach of security or unauthorised use of Your ID.
If you are accessing or using the any ONEDECOM Services on behalf of a business or third party, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to do so and to bind that business or third party to these Terms and Conditions, and your agreement to these Terms and Conditions will be treated as their respective agreement. In this event, ONEDECOM may hold you responsible for violations of this agreement by that business or third party, and “you,” “your” and “party” will also refer and apply to that business or third party.
You are responsible for any activity conducted through your account, including any purchases made or charges incurred. If you identify that you are using the ONEDECOM Services on behalf of a business, you agree that ONEDECOM may share information about your purchases and use of the Services with that business, including its representatives and agents. If that business indicates that you are no longer authorised to place listings on its behalf (e.g., if you leave that business or changes roles within that business and you no longer manage any listings), you agree you may be removed from listings associated with that business. You may not resell or transfer access to any of the ONEDECOM Services to any other party where you have been verified as managing listings.
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site:
In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way;
To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with the content standards as defined under section 8 content below;
To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam);
For any other purpose that infringes the rights of others.
ONEDECOM reserves the right to cancel or suspend your Membership or your access to any part of the Site (at its sole discretion) for any reason.
3. Membership services
ONEDECOM provides its members with a variety of ‘services’ which include the following:

Decommissioning Training Listings
ONEDECOM reserves the right to withdraw any of the Services and/or not to supply the Services requested.
4. Accessing the site
Access to public areas of the Portal is made available free of charge. Individual membership is available free of charge.
We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of Site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
We may update the Site from time to time and may change the content at any time to meet the development needs of the business and any requests from the community.
Other Members may update their Member profiles on the Site from time to time. However, please note that any of the content on any Member’s profile may be out of date at any given time.
We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.
You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access the Site. You should use your own virus protection software.
You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Site through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.
5. Reliance on information
The content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on the Site.
Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on the Site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on the Site is accurate, complete or up to date.
If you order any Services from us, such Order is subject to acceptance by us.
We will supply the Services to you from the date set out in the Order for the period of time set out in the Order.
We will make every effort to complete the Services on time. However, any such dates shall be estimates only and time for performance by us shall not be of the essence of these Terms.
We may need certain information from you that is necessary for us to provide the Services. We will contact you in writing about this. We will not be liable for any delay or non-performance where you have not provided this information to us after we have asked.
We may have to suspend the Services if we have to deal with technical problems. We will contact you to let you know in advance where this occurs, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency.
The price of the Services will be set out in the Order. Our prices may change at any time, but price changes will not affect Orders that we have confirmed with you.
While we may send you an automatic email confirming receipt of an Order, this does not amount to acceptance of such Order. Acceptance does not occur (and therefore an Order is not binding on us) until is it expressly accepted by us.
It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Services may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices as part of our Order confirmation process so that, where the Services’ correct price is more or less than our stated price, we will contact you to tell you and for your instructions. If the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mispricing, we do not have to provide the Services to you at the incorrect price.
The ONEDECOM services also offers the option to “sponsor” or “feature” any of ONEDECOM listing services e.g. (“Sponsored Jobs, Featured Companies”), which, for an additional fee, will secure upgraded placement of the listing on certain ONEDECOM pages. ONEDECOM will otherwise determine the size, placement and positioning of your Postings. ONEDECOM will serve your listings as inventory becomes available on the Portal.
The ONEDECOM services also offers the option for ONEDECOM to provide a “managed project service” where ONEDECOM will manually upload all of your project or project scope information for you. The data must be provided in a format that is representative of the various project and project scope fields. ONEDECOM reserve the right to change or amend any data provided to align with the project or project scope fields in the listings. On completion of data upload, ONEDECOM will notify the member of the listings on the portal. All changes and amendments required must be notified to ONEDECOM within two working days in order for any changes to be made. Upon completion of the notification period, this constitutes completion of this service and any changes thereafter must be carried out by the member, unless further “manage project services” are requested. The “managed project service” is limited to one main project or one main project scope.
The ONEDECOM service also offers the option to “manage company” or “manage project”. Where any data is listed on the portal that has this field on the listing it indicates that the data is not being managed by an individual or company. If you the member are associated to the “company” or “project” and wish to manage any of the listings, you will require further approval by ONEDECOM. You request will be verified to authenticate the information provided and we may be in contact for further information. Upon ONEDECOM approving the “manage company” or “manage project”, the user must have the required company plan to manage the project and / or scope. ONEDECOM will make contact with the member to ensure the company plan is in place. Where this company plan is not ordered, ONEDECOM reserve the right to cancel the request.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
You grant to ONEDECOM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, copy, modify, distribute and publish your postings in connection with the performance of the ONEDECOM Services (including for marketing and promotional purposes). You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights (including intellectual property rights) to your postings (including to grant the license above).
ONEDECOM reserves all its intellectual property rights in the Services, and in the material published on it. Using the Services does not give you any ownership in our Services or the content or information made available through our Services. Trademarks and logos used in connection with the Services are the trademarks of their respective owners.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation (where relevant) to content posted on the Site, but you may not provide them with copies of any such content in any medium.
You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on the Site must always be acknowledged.
You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us.
If you choose to provide suggestions or feedback to ONEDECOM about any services, you agree that ONEDECOM can (but does not have to) use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
8. Uploading content to the site
Whenever you make of any of our service allows you to upload content to the Site, or to contact other Members of the Site through the network, you must comply with the content standards. These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to the Site (“contributions”), and to any interactive services associated with it. You must comply with the following standards. The standards apply to each part of any service listing as well as to its whole.
Be accurate (where they state facts).
Be genuinely held (where they state opinions).
Comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted.
Contributions must not:
Contain any material which is defamatory of any person.
Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory.
Promote sexually explicit material.
Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
Infringe any copyright, database right, trade mark or other right of any other person.
Breach any company confidentiality information.
Be likely to deceive any person.
Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence.
Promote any illegal activity.
Be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
Give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case.
Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.
You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.
Any content you upload to the Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such content for any purpose.
We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to the Site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
We do not exercise editorial control over the content posted by Members on the Site. We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any content posted by you across any of our services or any other Member of the Site.
We reserve the right to remove any posting you make on the Site if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with the content standards set out above.
The views expressed by other Members on the Site do not represent our views or values.
If you are concerned that content on the Site infringes your rights, please contact us by the methods set out in these Terms, and we will investigate.
9. Linking to the site
You may link to our home page and/or your man content pages, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
You must not establish a link to the Site in any website that is not owned by you.
We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
The website in which you are linking must comply in all respects with the content standards set out above.
If you wish to make any use of content on the Site other than that which is set out above, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
10. Third party links and resources on the site
Where the Site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only.
We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.
11. How we use your personal information
We only use your personal information in accordance our Privacy Note. For details, please see our Privacy Note. Please take the time to read this, as it includes important terms which apply to you.
12. Paying for services
You can buy any of the paid services using the methods indicated on the Site. We want to keep things simply and the ONEDECOM payment gateway has been set-up to achieve this. If an alternative payment method is required to bring you onboard, get in touch and we can arrange.
Unless otherwise stated in the Order, or agreed in advance in writing with ONEDCOM, payment for any of the Services is due upon placement of your Order. ONEDECOM shall not be obliged (but shall have the discretion) to commence provision of the Services, unless otherwise agreed in accordance with this clause, until payment has been received.
You may be offered more than one billing option when you purchase any of ONEDECOM Services. You agree to pay on the basis and at the rate selected when a listing, order, or other purchase of ONEDECOM Services was submitted through your account (“Rate”). You also agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. All amounts paid are non-refundable. You remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. ONEDECOM may charge interest for any overdue amounts at the rate of the lesser of 1% per month or the lawful maximum, and you agree to reimburse us for all collection costs for overdue amounts.
Failure to pay these fees will result in the termination of your paid Services.
Unless you change or remove your payment method, ONEDECOM may store and update (e.g., upon expiration) your payment method for use with subsequent campaigns, orders and purchases submitted through your account.
All your purchases of Services are subject to ONEDECOM’s refund policy.
13. Refund Policy
Upon any order completion payments are non-refundable, including fees and other charges. This includes any services such as Company listings, project scope listings, job listings, event listings, featured listings and any other paid services offered by ONEDECOM.
If you cancel any services prior to the listing expiry date of that service all of your features, including adding project scopes, job postings, featured listings, events will expire at the end of your billing cycle.
14. Cancelling Paid services
If you cancel your paid services and return to a free ONEDECOM account, you’ll still retain your profile, connections, and other data. However, you’ll lose access to ONEDECOM features like Project updates, Project scopes updates, Company updates, Job postings. Any additional services that ONEDECOM introduces will also apply.
15. Our liability
We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with: use of, or inability to use, the Site; or use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Site.
We will not be liable for:
loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
loss of anticipated savings;
loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or
any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, distributed denial-of-service attack, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the Site or to your downloading of any content on it, or on any website linked to it.
We assume no responsibility for the content of listings / websites linked on the Site. Such links should not be interpreted as endorsement by us of those linked websites. We will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
We accept no liability for any losses or claims arising from any failure to complete an Order. If the requested service is not available we may offer you substitute services of a similar description and standard. ONEDECOM will contact you in order to agree any relevant changes to the Order. You may refuse the substitute services and receive a full refund in respect of that Order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
Notwithstanding any review or approval of any listings by ONEDECOM, you agree to indemnify ONEDECOM and its affiliates (as defined in the User Agreement), and hold ONEDECOM and its affiliates harmless from any damages, losses and costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees) related to third party claims or proceedings, arising out of or related to your postings, or any use of ONEDECOM Services, and breach of these Terms and Conditions.
17. Communications between us
When we refer, in these Terms, to “in writing”, this will include email and Orders agreed on the Site.

This Privacy Notice aims to provide you with information about how we handle information we receive from our registered ‘Network’ users (‘Members’) and everyone else who visits (‘Non-Members’) our Site. We take our responsibility seriously and will always treat this information with the utmost respect and care.
The primary purpose for processing your personal data, is to fulfil our contractual obligations towards you, the Member. The processing of personal data is required, for example, for us to be able to create our industry specific network of contacts, services and information to you.

We obtain this data directly from you and when you publish on the platform. There are both mandatory entry fields and optional information you can provide.
Login Data includes username or similar identifier and password
Profile Data includes full name, first name, last name, email address, facial or avatar imagery, educational background and job history
Billing Data includes transactional data about payments received
Activity Data includes messages, group posts, event participation and connections made
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences
Data we automatically obtain
Data about you is automatically collected when using our platform and services such as:
Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access our portal
Usage Data includes information about how you use our portal as well as the frequency and pattern of your service use
Data we obtain about you from other sources
We also process data that we haven’t obtained directly from you. This occurs whenever a Member provides us with information, or we collect information from other sources. In such cases we process the respective data within the scope of fulfilment of our contractual obligations towards the respective Member and/or to safeguard our legitimate interests, while giving due consideration to your interests.
Who we may share your data with?
We would only ever pass your personal data on to third parties when:
When required for us to fulfil our business purposes, e.g. when we make your profile accessible to another Member (‘connections’) as instructed by the preferences you set;
We are obliged to do so on legal grounds or at the request of another official authority
To create a Member profile, you will be required to enter your full name, last name, email address, username and password. If an Order is placed for additional Services, you will need to provide payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information.
Once registered, our Members can:
share their professional profile
engage with the network through direct contact, groups and forums
exchange industry knowledge and professional insights
promote company, project involvement and project role
post & view relevant content
promote, boost or find career opportunities
Note: Content and data on some of our Services is viewable to non-members.
Our portal allows Members to directly stay in touch with sector professionals and colleagues. To do so, you will “connect” with persons through their profile, and those who also wish to “connect” with you. Subject to how you have set your privacy preferences, when you connect with other Members you will be able to view each other’s connections.
Your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
After that is complete, your purchase transaction data is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by us.
Your Billing data is saved until your user account is deleted or beyond this point, until a time when the data is no longer subject to any tax-related, commercial or other statutory storage obligations.
From time to time we will send you marketing emails and newsletters to keep you updated on our products and services. You have a right to object at any time to the processing by unsubscribing to our newsletters by clicking on the link provided at the end of the respective newsletter.
We make it possible for Members to expand their network on ONEDECOM and invite Non-Members. When a Member makes use of this feature, personal data is processed on their behalf and under their responsibility. The invited Non-Member can select an opt-out link in the Invitation to Register e-mail to object to the sending of any further invitations. On receiving such notice, ONE Decom automatically deletes the Non-Member’s data – first name, last name and e-mail address.
When creating a Member profile on ONEDECOM, we require a few details from you such as your full name. This information then forms the basis of your professional profile and is always visible to others (Members. The choice is then yours to determine whether you want non-members of ONEDECOM to be able to find and access the information in your profile, e.g. via search engines. Your settings let you decide as you can narrow down who can see your profile, e.g. only registered ONEDECOM members. Privacy settings are available to you under Privacy in the Account tab.
ONEDECOM will only process your personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so. Our lawful bases include:
contract – where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g. to deliver the ONEDECOM Services you have requested)
consent (where you have given consent)
legitimate interests – (process your personal data for the purposes of our legitimate interests provided that such processing shall not outweigh your rights and freedoms)
Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw or decline your consent at any time and where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object
We ensure that there are appropriate technical controls and security measures in place designed to protect and prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed We undertake regular reviews of who has access to information that we hold to ensure that your information is only accessible by appropriately trained staff, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have legal rights available to you with regard to data access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability.
Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘right of access’ request. More information can be found at https://ico.org.uk.
You may download a copy of all data you have created on our portal using the ‘Export Data’ function within the ‘Accounts’ tab under profile. An email will be sent to you to verify the request. Then the site admin will review your request and if approved, a zip file will be generated and emailed to you.
